Derby City native Paul Biel - designer of "Designs By Paolo" - is bringing his luxe leather handbags to
Louisville for the first time. Stop by Lake Forest Country Club (14000 Landmark Drive) from 11
a.m. and 4 p.m. today for an open house to meet Biel and view and order his doctor bag styles with
vintage flair. Leather folios and travel accessory cases also will be available for purchase.
The handbags, which made their debut in February, have been spotted on the arms of hotel heiress
Paris Hilton (who opted for a black crocodile print version with taupe trip) and "Dancing With the
Stars" darling Julianne Hough (she chose a brown crocodile style).
The bags cost $389. You can custom-design your own by choosing the color of the leather body and
trim detail. Those who attend today's event receive a $50 gift certificate toward their purchase.
